Intake Pipes for the E70/E71 X5M and X6M with the S63 4.4L V8 engine. Our intake pipes have been designed using a precise 3D scan of the engine bay to maximize space and obtain a perfect fit.
These pipes are our own custom design developed with the highest standards and tested on the road and track.

Printed in PA612-CF (Nylon Carbon Fiber) in a heated chamber to obtain the best layer bonding. Parts are then annealed in an oven for 16 hours to reach maximum HDT and mechanical properties. They are afterwards bonded using overlapping joints and specialty industrial epoxy made for nylons. They resist oil, solvents and fuels. Because of the non-porous synthetic nature of nylon, painting the pipes is not recommended.
We use the same material formula as our charge pipes which see 25+ PSI.

We decided to discard the original boots, so you will need 2x 3 inch silicone couplings cut to approx. 2.5 inch long. Sold separately.
The filters used are K&N RC-5000. Sold separately.
Trimming the original holes for the filter pipes and the front grilles lower trim is necessary. This allows the filters to sit nicely in front of the oil cooler and leaves about ¼ inch with the grilles once the hood closed.

We have not tested the pipes on a dyno but similar products claim gains of approx. 24WHP. With these pipes you will also hear the turbo and the dump valves much more.
These intakes provide a direct improvement in performance with the additional benefit of a higher engine note all wrapped into a sturdy piece with a beautiful finish.
